Nautilus isa Japanese Jazz trio centered around drummer Toshiyuki Sasaki. Together with bassplayer Shigeki Umezawa and MarikoNakabayashi on the keys; they are known for their distinctive style, which can be summarized as the modern rare groove, embodies a mixture of jazz, funk, discomusic, soul, and even hiphop.
Nautilus moves with its vibes between the worlds of groovy jazz and delves into eclectic real ms with its synthsound, so that they can play on any stagesize, from a jazzclub to an open-minded electronic festival.

Nautilus toured twice through Germany with Oonops and played at the renowned XJAZZ Festival in Berlin, at superior hotels The Hearts  Hotel and
Urban Nature, at the Jazz Club King Georg in Cologne, at award-winning venues like LOCH(Wuppertal), Knust(Hamburg), Speicher(Husum) and
Hansa48, at superior food venues like Backstein in Leipzig and Basta in Magdeburg, at the extraordinary Historical Museum in Hanover, the
biggest outdoor event of the year in Hanover, the Maschseefest and many more.
